I, Jaron Ray Hinds (JRH), was born in the MidWest Region of the United States of America. I claim Iowa as my Birth State and Missouri as where I spent my adolescence. I went to college in Springfield Missouri where I studied Business. I successfully obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree in Marketing in the year of 2003.
JRH then moved to St. Louis Missouri where I got my first job at American District Telegraph (ADT). This made sense to me, since St. Louis has one of the highest crime rates in America. After working there for a year, I decided alarm systems were not My Cup of Tea, so I transitioned into Merchant Services. I engaged business with a company called Nationwide Processing, which deals in credit card processing and automated teller machine (ATM) placement. I taught myself the merchant services industry through a publication called The Green Sheet.
After working with Nationwide Processing for a year, I decided to open my own business. Initially I did my credit card processing through Card Service International (CSI), which is now First Data Independent Sales. During this timeframe I engaged into different business partnerships with multiple merchant services providers. Partners included Zebtel Networks, Access ATM, Northern Leasing, TimePayment Solutions, Gateway Cash Register, Page Plus, Capital Retail Solutions and BestCard LLC.
In 2007, I was working with many banks throughout the MidWest Region and I was approached by a company called BankOnHold (BOH). BOH was offering OnHold Messaging and Digital Signage via a System As A Service (SaaS) to the niche market of Banks and Credit Unions. I agreed to become an independent affiliate with the State of Missouri as my territory. After a great success in Missouri, I made the decision to go full-time with BOH and took on a new territory, California.
I moved to Huntington Beach in May of 2008 and traveled all over California for two years straight. During this time frame I enrolled over seventy clients, mostly Credit Unions, with a few other unique niches such as hospitals and dentists. After two years with BOH, I took a position with ZeroInMedia of New York to offer Digital Signage to a larger company sizes. I still maintained the California territory but also expanded into other states throughout the South Western Region. I still maintain this working relationship today.
Exhausted from traveling all the time, I decided to shift my focus to something Local in Newport Beach, so I got into the Yacht Industry. I was offered a salesmanship with a Yacht Brokerage by the name of Newport Harbor Yachts in May of 2010. In November 2010 I transferred to a larger brokerage that carried new yacht vessels, CruisersWest.
In March of 2010, a conference by the name of CTIA brought my focus back to Technology and Media. This conference was the first experience in a long time where I interacted with Like Minds. I’ve always had a passion for Telecom and Media, as my father worked at a small Telecom company as I was growing up, and still does. The CTIA Conference made me realize where my true passion lays and brought my focus back to Mobile and Media.
Some may ask, “What Is It Your Working On Right Now?” I have started my own Marketing Agency with emphasis on Modern Dynamic Marketing. Market ME Media Group (MMMG), is the name that I advertising firm. MMMG’s focus is on the latest and greatest marketing methodologies available to businesses today.
I do a little freelance work on the side as I am proficient in HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3 and PHP programming languages. Recent skills include Photshop and Cinema 4D adaptation.
